Abigail Schaber, M.Ed., LPCC Owner

Abigail is a licensed professional clinical counselor who has been working in the mental health field for over six years. She has extensive experience working with all age ranges; however, her favorite people to work with are adolescents and teens! Abigail is most passionate about working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, personal relationships, self-esteem, and trauma.  She has experience working in outpatient treatment programs, foster care, and within the public schools.  Abigail is skilled in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness interventions, Trauma Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and Group Therapy.  

Jill Fowee, LPCC-S

Jill is a licensed professional clinical counselor who has been working in mental health services for 17 years.  She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents of all ages.  Jill has provided counseling in a therapeutic preschool program, residential treatment, and within the public schools.  Jill is most passionate about working with clients who cope with anxiety, depression, trauma and adjustment issues.  Jill currently works full time in the public schools and meets with clients on a part-time basis.   Skilled in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and Group Therapy.  

Melanie Shannon, LPCC

Melanie is a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio and Kentucky.  She has been working with children, teens and families in a therapeutic setting for over seven years and providing therapeutic intervention for the past four years.  Melanie's passions include working with children and adolescents that have behavioral challenges and trauma.  She believes change and improvement is always possible and that the most successful approach is collaboration with the whole family unit.  Melanie has experience working in residential treatment, foster care, outpatient settings and within the public schools. Melanie currently works full time in the public schools and meets with clients on a part-time basis.  Her ultimate goal is to help children and families create healthy bonds and learn appropriate ways to express themselves in order to heal and lead healthy, productive lives.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. 

 

Trauma & PTSD

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. 

 

Relationships

Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
